Salary Range: $114,000 - $171,000 Annually (Full-Time)
The Mission & Role
Advocate Health is looking for a PA-C to join their Thoracic Surgery team.

Conduct independent clinic visits, including post-operative follow-ups and ongoing patient management

Run parallel clinic alongside the surgeon, managing your own patient panel

Serve as first assist in the operating room

Perform inpatient rounding and post-operative care management
-
Collaborate closely with the surgeon and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes
Key Responsibilities:

High-Quality Care: Use strong history, physical examination, assessment, and procedural skills to provide comprehensive thoracic surgical care for adult patients.

Collaboration: Enjoy developing a close, collaborative relationship working 1-on-1 with a thoracic surgeon.

Clinical Duties: Assess and manage patients in both outpatient clinic and inpatient environments, managing pre-op and post-op conditions while also serving as first-assist in the operating room.
Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree from an accredited PA program

Licensure: NCCPA certification and current State of Illinois licensure.
